Slowing down is not lazy, it’s the answer.
Pausing, slowing down & changing direction have nothing to do with being lazy or giving up - but everything to do with better decision making.
So … whether you’re ready for a career shift or want to make meaningful lifestyle changes, confidence in your decision making comes from:
listening to yourself, your intuition and tuning in to what’s most important.
But for us to get clarity on those things 👆🏽we need to:
slow down, take stock, actually stop all of the reactive action and gather our thoughts.
A normal day requires us to take action & make thousands of micro decisions from the second the alarm sounds. And during the day we’re exposed to opinion, expectations & pressure to get stuff done.
And humans have adapted pretty well to this fast paced life …. except we haven’t. Not really.
We’re managing yes, but how helpful is this pace and mindset of always ‘doing’? Decision fatigue and burnout are topics people are sharing about more & more.
So when people enquire about Coaching it has nothing to do with needing answers, or being told what to do…
It has everything to do with spending time in a space which is designed to:
• support clear thinking, sorting fiction and fear from fact and possibility
• replace overthinking with fresh perspectives and self-compassion
• enable confident decision making, not swayed by judgement or expectation
• turn ideas & plans into realistic action maps.
Not all action is helpful action, just being busy for the sake of busy and to feel productive isn’t the only approach - yet it's become normalised. If that doesn't feel like an approach that works for you that's ok.
Commit to trusting yourself, crafting your own career path and lifestyle without the overthinking and worry.
Which ideas or plans would benefit from your full focus so they can become the start of meaningful change?
